Jill Thomas-Jorgenson is the Director for the Idaho Small Business Development Center in Region II. She also serves as the principle investigator for the Idaho Virtual Incubator. Thomas-Jorgenson holds a Bachelor Degree in Communication Arts from Lewis-Clark State College, and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. Her work experience includes managing not-for-profit agencies, economic development, program development, operations management, sales and marketing, as well as business ownership.

Verna Rowland Germer is the Special Projects Assistant for the Idaho Virtual Incubator. Rowland Germer is a business major at Lewis-Clark State College. She has a strong graphic design background, having worked for the Lewiston Morning Tribune for eleven years. She is also a former small business owner. Her graphic and entrepreneurial experience make her a good match for working with student interns as they design web sites for small businesses in rural Idaho. Rowland Germer joined the IVI staff in August 2003.

Dr. Mike Vernon (contact@idahovi.org) is the Web Advisor for the IVI. He is a professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Lewis-Clark State College. Dr. Vernon received his Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1985 and joined the Lewis-Clark State College faculty the same year. During the last 17 years at Lewis-Clark State College, he served 8 years as Natural Science Division Chair and two years as Dean of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Vernon began offering math and computer science in an on-line format using Internet protocols in 1988 on a departmental Intranet he developed. In 1995, Vernon started LC WebStars, a web development and hosting business. As owner, he has had the opportunity to develop and host a variety of data-driven web sites. His business focuses on developing innovative web interfaces to databases in a UNIX/LINUX environment.

Stephanie Wagner, Special Projects Coordinator. Stephanie attended the University of Idaho majoring in business with an accounting minor. While in college she was the Office Manager for the U of I Early Childhood Learning Center. After college she began working as a Legal Assistant for an attorney in Moscow. She has been a Legal Assistant for almost 8 years and has worked for 2 sole proprietors and 1 law firm. She has been with the SBDC/IVI since February 2001.

Stephanie and her husband have three daughters and have lived in the area all of their lives.

Dawn Gauthier is the Administrative Assistant for the Idaho Small Business Development Center, Region II, in Lewiston, Idaho. She joined the SBDC staff in September 2003.
